Jake----

To a lot of people Jake is the best QB the panthers have ever had, so they equate that with Jake actually being a good QB.

The problem with that is, is that the Panthers have never had a good QB.

So basically the point of saying that is, Jake is bad.

Steve Beuerlein wasn't a good QB?

Steve Beuerlein wasn't a good QB?

Nope, he was a little better than Jake overall.

Depending on how much longer he plays, or how well he does or does not play next year any subsequent year after that. I could put him over Steve.

Jake can be good, and I would actually say I think he is good if he played to his potential all the time.

If Jake was actually good enough to make a team as a starter earlier on in his career I would think he would have turned out better than Steve.(and would have been pretty damn good with better early coaching)

Let's be honest, the man couldn't crack a starting line up in the Euro league......

(or on the damn Saints)

Hell, at least Steve was a back up on a Super Bowl winning team :D

Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth

Blowing down the letters that we wrote

Idiot wind, blowing through the dust upon our shelves

We are idiots babe, it's a wonder we can even feed ourselves...

Jake's what we got, that's it. What do you want?

I wouldn't even give Jake the honor of calling him mediocre. He's flat-out bad. Here are a list of current QBs I'd take over Jake:

Matt Ryan

Drew Brees

Romo

McNabb

Jason Campbell

Eli

Kurt Warner

Shaun Hill (he and Thigpen are the most underrated QBs in the NFL)

Aaron Rodgers

Matt Cassel

Brady

Trent Edwards

Pennington

Peyton

Matt Schaub

Rivers

Cutler

Thigpen

Roethlisberger

Flacco

Carson Palmer

Brady Quinn

If there are 22 better quarterbacks than you in the league, does that even make you mediocre?

LMFAO you are the stupidest poster on these boards

The problem is when Jake is having a bad game, he is having a HORRENDOUS game. Some QBs can keep an even keel but Jake self destructs when Smith is taken away...it's a sad fact especially considering I'm one of his biggest fans

PlayMoore just has QB tenderoni fever. he wants a younger QB than Jake and nothing more. What the hell has Brady Quinn shown to make him any better than Jake?

    • Destiny really fuged me in terms of me playing other games. I have a week off this summer and maybe I will be able to dive back in, but I'd really like to finish Breath of the Wild too.  Witcher is so much fun, but iirc I'm kind of at a point where all my quests are a much higher level than me (like 30s and I'm a 15 or something). I probably need to back track and pick up a bunch of side quests that are manageable to boost my level some.    I like the Witcher's lore better than Skyrim, but I still think Skyrim is a more appealing game to me just because you can casually pick it up and start dominating. Witcher is more rewarding but takes more time.
    • No way would I consider CAP a lock to make the roster. In fact, I think he may be on the outside looking in at the moment. But, the stats bear out that he was roughly equal to Stew in effectiveness last year. Stew averaged 3.78ypc and a TD once every 24 carries. CAP averaged 4ypc and a TD once every 18 carries. Hell, it may be generous saying that Stew was equal to CAP in effectiveness last year. I think a lot of Panthers fans suffer from nostalgia when looking at Stew. I still think he's a decent RB, but to hear some Panthers fans talk you'd think that the guy was a future HOFer. I feel like most of us (myself and the front office and coaching staff included) have perpetually overvalued Jonathan Stewart.
