There is no rule that says face of the franchise players must win a SB to be a face of that franchise. See Marino/Kelly.
Also go ask some Steelers fans who the face of their franchise is right now.
It sure ain't Rapistberger.
Point is RB's can, are, and have been the face of teams around the league.
And there is nothing wrong with that really, and it certainly doesn't mean to get rid of them in their prime.
I never said there was a rule, I made a factual statement about teams whom you said their franchise players was the RB. The league defines success of a team by the number of championships they bring in and go to. Then you turn around and name two QBs who did not win a championship...It happens sometimes. But see..Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Bret Farve, John Elway, Joe Montana, Steve Young, and the list goes on and on and on.
Next, Roethisberger or what ever name you want to call him is going to have mixed views now. Well what about during the time that I'm speaking of. Plus who cares what their fans think. Like we actually get to choose who our franchise player is.
