This debate is getting pretty annoying at this point. A retard can figure out that they have no effect on the economy since they were in place before and during the "Great Recession". If they had done what they were intended to do, we wouldn't be having this conversation, but they failed, and instead of admitting that and rolling them back, both sides want to play politics.......again.

I'm also tired of people bitching about how bad people are hurting, and thats why they need those tax breaks. *NEWSFLASH* People have ALWAYS been "hurting". A meaningless ass tax break isn't going to stop that. If you actually have a job, you're not hurting. Its the 11 million people that are broke and can't pay the bills that I care about. Republicans care sooo much about running up the debt, well what in the hell do you think giving everybody a tax cut does? God, its not even that hard of a concept.

Also, this should really be a no brainer, but its not, because brains in America are a rarely I guess, but we need to cut Defense spending. We spend twice as much as the rest of the world.............COMBINED on defense. For what? This isn't the 13th century. Nobody is out on a conquest of the world anymore. I'm not saying disband the military, but all we need are X amount of troops ready and willing to protect this country from an invasion. And even with that, # 1, who the hell is going to try to invade us, and number 2, if they did, everybody over the age of 5 has a gun nowadays, so you really don't even need that. Leave the rest of the world alone, because contrary to popular belief, American intervention in foreign affairs has caused more lose of life and destruction than anything I can think of.

When you hear of stories of people choosing to stay on unemployment because they make more while on it doesn't make you rethink that strategy?

As far as ALL government spending...it should all be cut 10% off the top. Now.

As for sticking it to the actual people paying taxes right now...I don't think they need a tax INCREASE.

When do people need a tax increase? When, in American history was the time right for a tax increase? Please...please tell us. Will they be able to afford one in 5 years? 10? 15? 100? 1000? In 1000 years will Americans be able to afford a tax increase? I'm tired of that, because its BS. People will make the best with what they can, because thats how people have been doing it forever. You want to fix the debt right? Then we have to increase taxes. We can't go cutting any and everything either. Thats simply retarded. Idiots want to cut the fuging Department of Education. Good lord. Tough choices have to be made, its simply the way it is.

Tough choices have to be made. Ok...let's make those choices.

Fed is pushing 600billion of new money into the system to HOPEFULLY cause some inflation. Do you know what that does to the price of goods? Gas has steadily gone up. Do you know what THAT does to the price of goods? Food warnings are going out that they are going to go up (corn and other commodities). DO you know what that does to the price of goods?

And you're wanting to hit the people who's having nearly every mainstay of their lives go up in price while reducing the buying power of their money.

Are you really to make the tough choices like killing ALL federal expenditures on non-essentials? Like NPR money...or funding to Planned Parenthood...or farm subsidies? I am. I'm saying cut everything by 10%. You bring up the Department of Education as a strawman because it's about the children. One point...the Department of Education does not teach one damned child. That's done by the state/local school boards and the monies they receive through local taxation.

But yeah...the PROBLEM is the person wanting to keep more of the money they earn.

You have farking unions gouging the taxpayers for millions/billions and yet the taxpayer is the problem. You have teacher's in New Jersey who never paid a dime for their pension or healthcare but have guarantees for the rest of their lives and bitch/moan when they're asked to pay 1.5% toward their heathcare.

You have dips**t professors in New Hampshire whining about their agreements

http://unionleader.c...52-7011899bd00e

and they're proposing they receive a 12.5% pay increase.

Yeah...and the Bush tax cuts are the problem. No...the problems start with entitlement philosophies that have plagued this nation. The money doesn't grow on trees dumbasses.

Sometimes I wish liberals would just move to Greece and places that promote stupidity.

That makes no sense...

but if you're making a defense argument...that's probably the ONE thing that's specifically spelled in the Constitution that IS a federal responsibility.

But don't let that get in the way of a snarky response.
