Due to blizzard in upper midwest, NY team flight diverted to Kansas City
right now the NFL is saying noon kickoff if the Vagies can get a flight out of KC in the morning (they're staying the night there)

Weird that they diverted to Kansas City. Usually they try to divert as close as possible to the destination. That way it leaves them more options if you cant fly in.

That system has been over MSP for the past 12 hours. They are supposed the get 22 inches of snow there.

I think they're trying to get somewhere where they don't have to worry about any issues flying out, which takes out Chicago and Milwaukee since they're going to get hit with it. We're even supposed to get a couple inches of snow here in STL, but the system's pretty much out of KC and didn't do much there anyway.

Hotel space maybe flying out will be easy for them they charter the whole plane. Dont know about the NFL but NBA and NHL have rules that if you miss a game the team gets fined a million dollars even for weather. The Giants should have left Friday it wasnt like this was a surprise storm.

Ed Werder just reported the roof is not that bad and they expect it to be fixed once the snow is gone. Said it is air supported and it may re-inflate itself.
Still don't think the game will be played there this week.
