not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but it's a good read. The author of the article is very truthful and points out a lot of key aspects that are wrong in Clausen's game.

so i guess we just going make jimmy the scapegoat for a all around sh*tty team
Nope, Jimmy sucks on top of every other sucky thing going on.
So far everyone has poo on:
JR, Fox, Davidson, O-line, Jimmy, Moore, Godfrey, and Marshall.

Jimmy = journeyman backup QB.
Another wasted draft pick. But let's keep Hurney since he's so good with contracts.
Or keep him supervising contracts/cap numbers and bring in a HC who can coach 'em up and have a positive contribution on draft day.

No, we're gonna hold Jimmy accountable for his own shitty play and ineptitude to show he's an NFL QB this year. What makes it worse is people keep defending him and try to make the OL or coaching a "scapegoat" for his poor play as an individual.
Look, for as much hype as he came in with, he hasn't fulfilled 1/100th of it. In a year with Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy, he is looking like one of the worst rookie QBs to play in a long time. So he's gonna catch more flak than most. He and his family built the hype machine for Jimmy, so when things go the other way, there's gonna be that same amount of questions directed towards him.
What makes things worse is that for some reason people refuse to accept he IS this bad and keep looking to blame it on others or put his responsibilities on other facets of the game.
The OL and Davidson didn't cause his dumbass to go ahead and snap the ball and continue with the play called rather than audible out of it or make adjustments after the Falcons LBs audibled coverage right in front of him... He threw an INT.
The OL and Davidson don't make him lead the league in throwaways and checkdowns. The OL and Davidson don't make him the worst QB in the NFL in average yards per attempt. He isn't good, so why are people so quick to rush to his defense? Yes, there are other problems with this team, but a TRUE franchise QB helps a team overcome that, regardless of whether they are a rookie or not.

I thought I was clear, concise and to the point? What Scott Fowler knows about football can be written out on the back of a postage stamp.
