When was the last time a slam dunk uncontested first overall pick went back to school and played another season when it wasn't mandatory? And don't give me that Sam Bradford crap either, because he was nowhere near a lock.

When was the last time we were in the CBA situation that we are now seeing?

The uncertainty of football next year will be HUGE factor in the decision of many underclassmen.

If the CBA were in place, I would say it would be 99.9% certain that Luck came out.

With the current situation, no one really knows.

He's a d-bag because we don't like what he said!!! Oh, and ESPN hates us.
Wait...I totally forgot which message board I was on for a sec. Those concepts are so novel.

I enjoy that show actually. But not in any other setting.

Just look at the guy.

It's not his fault he's probably a wonderful person in the real life but food network takes whatever is real about you and amplifys it to 11 to the point that you are unbearable to watch.

I actually work for Scripps Networks, who owns Food Network. I just personally happen to work for the Travel Channel. Still, I've met Guy Fieri at the office. Not as cool of a guy as Alton Brown.

Yeah I was able to see him speak at Johnson and Wales a few weeks ago when I was volunteering for this hospital culinary competition. He was offering a book signing but I didn't have time to stay, but he ended up signing extra ones for the volunteers and I got a book for free. He's a pretty cool guy.

One lady during a Q & A asked how she could break her addiction to soda, so he ran into the audience, grabbed her soda, and threw it in the trashcan. It was pretty funny.

He shot down Harbaugh and Cowher, then suggested that Luck will stay in school. I hardly think that makes him a douchebag. Harbaugh is a risk, Cowher will cost too much and will want more control than Richardson will give him, and with the CBA it is certainly likely Luck could stay in school.

I actually agree with most of that. Our next head coach will neither be Cowher or Harbaugh. However I do think Luck comes out. It's not like he's against the Panthers, he is playing the odds here.

CBA won't have anything to dso with luck staying or leaving.

it's a non-issue.

His answer doesn't really make him a douchebag, but I really wouldn't take it too seriously.

When he was with NFL Network, Schefter was reliable. Since bolting for ESPN, calling him "hit or miss" would be a compliment.

When it comes to the Panthers, neither he nor Mortensen generally get much right.

schefter does ok getting the scoop on somethings, but on speculative stuff he's just as bad as florio at throwing crap on the wall and hoping it sticks. this isn't some recent revelation i have had either. you can go back a pretty long ways and i'll be saying the same thing.

he was a lot more credible while at NFLN, but his credibility has taken a hit since then.
