Mr. Scot

The Next Head Coach

I'm not an expert on Coaches, but what do you think about Brian Schottenheimer for head coach? I didn't see mention on him.

Young guy, innovative on offense... I think he's done a great job with Sanchez. He's been waiting for a head coaching opportunity for awhile.

I think Schotty is really hit and miss, but really who isn't? Some days he looks like a genius, some he looks like an idiot. Many people will argue the latter. I think much of his coaching future will be determined in the playoffs. Overall I think hes done well with Sanchez.

Well it seems our chances went down a little bit now.Because i believe Rich gets fired by monday. That was a beat down that they took today.

Maybe for Harbaugh, but the liklihood for Luck to declare went up. Michigan will pay more than Stanford. Hopefully, Carolina pays more than Michigan. Harbaugh will be enticed by the NFL. WHy Carolina and not SF or Denver etc? We can get Luck. SInce Luck has 2 weeks to decide, I look for Harbaugh to be interviewed by Carolina ASAP.

Reports from Vikings camp is that they're in serious talks with Frazier so it's likely he's out of the playing field

Garrett looks like he's on the fence in Dallas, and a lot of that hinges on Fisher's job security in Tennessee. Fisher might have messed up bad in the eyes of Bud Adams with the whole VY situation and Fisher should've stopped coaching the Titans at least 5 years ago anyway. If he becomes available, Jones will be hard pressed to pass on the guy, so it's possible Garrett moves back into play.

maybe I'm missing something by why would Jones want Fisher in particular that much?

So, Elway is now a special consultant to the Broncos. Going to help with the coach search. Gee, wonder who they want?

He technically can't be yet. They still have to do a "Rooney Rule" interview.

I'll go ahead and profile Ryan, but I don't know how seriously to take it. John Czarnecki isn't someone I consider one of the better sources.
