Mr. Scot

The Next Head Coach

Offense is the way to go now days folks. The times of shut down defenses are near non existant. We need to score as many points as possible and hope our defense can make turn overs to help us put up more points. Ohh... who does that?? wait that sounds exactly like what the Saints want to do

I am stubbornly holding on to the defense minded mold of building a winning team. I realize it is not in vogue now. I remember back in the heyday of the Forty Niner teams with that tough defense. Ronnie Lott could light you up! I think that balance is the key. Being able to stretch the field is critical to opening up holes for the running game. I would also think that he would bring some creative offensive ideas from being around Andy Reid.

Okay, I want to get my offical pick for the next head coach out there now before interviews actually start happening.

So, I'm going with Tony Dungy.

No one will see it coming. Counter to what both fans and the media are thinking. He is the ideal canidate as far as being a role model ect. And for Dungy, he would have the opportunity to come in and draft Luck aka the next Peyton Manning.

We need a strong personality who has the ability to see the larger picture and build on the strengths of the team.

Right on Fiz. He is not afraid to put together a strong package deal when he wants to. For all the negative yap about ole JR he is not cheap with the money when he is motivated......this year with his position with the ownership I think it handcuffed his decision making....hope that stops
