Well least it'll raise his stock some when we trade his ass in the offseason. He has played like crap all season and can no longer be trusted to block the QBs blind side.

And who would you suggest be the LT if we trade him?

Wow, he played like complete ass the first half of the season too AND was on a 2-14 team. I didn't realize that he's a "name" now that can almost automatically make Pro Bowls like Peppers was.

I guess he got in on the players/coaches side because I don't see how he would get much fan support.

And gross has had rough patches beforehand, the whole team including guys like kalil and smith have sucked.

JG had a bad season, so did Kalil.

I'd rather we get depth at LT/C and start them. They play like poo next year, bench their asses.

Gross is really more of a RT, he's not the elite shutdown pass blocker you want out of a LT.

Kinda OT but if we can somehow manage to get a stud LT in the offseason, then you move Gross back over to RT where he really belongs. Kick Otah inside to RG, as he struggles in space with pass blocking he should be significantly better inside against DTs and that knocks OG off your list of needs as well. One pickup can drastically improve the pass blocking aspect of our OLine.
