Nope not at all. Everyone was sippin' the Clausen Kool-aid.
I think I bashed the kid and said he wouldn't make a good pro right after the pick but that was still my deep down hatred for Notre Dame leaking out. I honestly thought the search was over.....

I didn't know if he would make a good pro or not, but I "knew" he'd be able to sit on the bench at least a year and learn behind a solid QB in Moore, and maybe in the future he'd pan out to be good for us.
Of course his career isn't over, and I wouldn't be surprised at all at him coming out as the opening day starter next year, but at this point..

You have got to be f_ucking kidding me
I'll admit this was because we didn't draft a receiver, not anything against Clausen.

Let's not confine him to the trash heap just yet, huh?
Otherwise I'll start talking about how the Meinke Car Care Bowl looks about as full as it does for a Panthers home game.

I think the sense of entitlement is strong in him. I am not sure he has ever really competed for anything. From what I can tell, he was the chosen one in high school.
He was, everyone at ND thought he was God's gift to the school when he got there.....

He's. A. f**king. Rookie.

Technically, he's a vet in 3 days.
And well... he's looked pretty terrible, even for a Rookie.
