I was a Clausen Homer. I was fooled into believing he was going to be our first true francshise qb. Can anybody remember someone not neccessarily bashing Clausen blindly but accurately predicting what he has become in the nfl?

I think I bashed the kid and said he wouldn't make a good pro right after the pick but that was still my deep down hatred for Notre Dame leaking out. I honestly thought the search was over.....

I was glad he dropped to us.
I didn't know if he would make a good pro or not, but I "knew" he'd be able to sit on the bench at least a year and learn behind a solid QB in Moore, and maybe in the future he'd pan out to be good for us.

Of course his career isn't over, and I wouldn't be surprised at all at him coming out as the opening day starter next year, but at this point..

I think the sense of entitlement is strong in him. I am not sure he has ever really competed for anything. From what I can tell, he was the chosen one in high school.
