Obviously Vick is the clear cut starter for the Eagles now. Kolb has shown signs of brilliance, but has also shown signs of mediocrity. I'm not sure what his contract situation is, but we should trade for him or sign him to compete this upcoming year. Since there's really nothing to look forward to next season, I at least want a chance to have more than 2 wins next year.

Theres a reason he didnt beat out vick. Mediocrity is not what i'm in the market for.

Should be considered. Not thrilled about that option considering it would involve trading with a team that didn't NEED to move him. Not worth the risk IMO.

wouldnt agree that beating out Vick should be a standard. Nonetheless Kolb not the ideal candidate IMO

I wouldn't mind him as a Panther but he is NOT who we should be going for. He would not be the solution. An upgrade over Jimmy...yes. But a solution to our long term problems...no

I mean you never know. Give the guy a chance. Even if he's not the answer to our long term problems, neither is Jimmy or Matty. At least we should bring him in here to compete and see what happens. If he can come in, put together a decent season, and win us 6-7 games next year, he might be something to look at.

I just don't think I can stand another 2-14 season, that's all.

Pretty much. Moore would probably put up the same or better numbers in the system the Eagles have. They've plenty of weapons and their coach actually knows how to utilize them all.

There are so many things that need to be corrected and right now no one knows what direction we are headed

I'm all for a guy like Kolb. I am strongly against drafting a QB at #1 with Luck out of the equation. It's a bad idea. This is JaMarcus Russel/Alex Smith/Vince Young/Brady Quinn etc etc etc type stuff all over again.

And let's not forget, even when Vick put together a couple of great starts early on in the season, Andy Reid still declared Kolb his starter. Obviously Reid saw something in Kolb that he didn't see in Vick.

However, Vick started to put up MVP type numbers, so it was almost impossible to go against him.

I think we'll stick with Jimmy and bring in a veteran to help develop him, as we should have done in the first place. The kid's still some potential and, who knows, maybe with a decent OC he can excel.
