I have never seen so many grown men butt-hurt because a kid decided to stay in school and get a degree. Absolutely unbelievable...No. Not in the Huddle.

Even Richardson has said it and it is true. We have a young fan base that isnt used to the cycle of the NFL. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Whatever happens you just move on after it happens.

if it was true you'd have a bunch of people jumping off the ship and becoming saints fans, chargers fans,

it's the "cycle" of the NFL that makes me understand no matter how shitty it is now, every franchise has gone through this, and rose above it. Except for the Bengals

really every team goes through it, and if we were acting any different then we are now it would just be unusual

No need to flame, but you should look at it from other points of view. They might think your the one who needs to be put into a mental institution.

Funny, I think he's the owner of the site.
He's also correct.

[quote name='Zod']This thread is addressed to a certain portion of the huddle population. Specifically, those who would wish for 20 months without NFL football just so that they could choose first in the draft again and land Andrew Luck.

I have not been on the board for a few days. WOW. I didn't realize there were people who thought this way. Shocking.

Besides. Patrick Peterson is awesome. I am starting to think he is the Andrew Luck of Cornerbacks. I am also noticing AJ Green for the first time. We will solve the QB problem and get pretty good somewhere else. Cheer up and put the gun down people.

I'm with Zod. First y'all want to tank this season to get Luck, with no guarantee he will come out. Then y'all want a lockout next season, with no guarantee that Luck will declare AND no guarantee that we will have the first pick again. That makes you clinically insane.

Luck's just the latest flavor

After the combine and some other player gets hyped out the arse as the next great whatever

Luck will be forgotten and there will be 50 threads on the new flavor

Honestly, right now, coming off of a season that saw us kicked in the crotch week after week, followed the past few days of highs, lows and general weirdness, a year with no football doesn't really sound so bad to me.

That's right now, though.

Come September, if there's no NFL on TV, I'll probably look like one of those celebrities you see in paparazzi pics as they're being dragged into rehab :(
