you're right im sure the 72 year old man was the youngest and healthiest candidate with the most life left to live.

Anyone with any sort of conviction in their beliefs would leave the Panthers, and everything to do with them.

Immediately.

A 20 year old with a new heart could just as easy die in a car crash or get hit by a bus as a 72 year old living another 30 years. You just never know.

Good Luck JR!

ya know Fiz, with that kind of logic we should just quit working to cure Alzheimers or Cancer in people over 70 as well. I'll rely on your vast wisdom and compassion to set the guidelines.

Regardless of whether I agree with Fiz or not, this is such horribly flawed logic I actually spit my drink out when I read it in laughter.

How many people suffering from Alzheimer's need an organ transplant vs people suffering from some sort of heart disease? Disease research can be done, even on illnesses affecting the elderly, without f*cking over younger people who all have a much better chance of living a long healthy life than someone over 70. Organ transplants do.

And for the record, I'm ecstatic Big Cat got his heart. But if we're going to have a ridiculous debate on whether the elderly should get heart transplants, we might as well keep it on track.

yes that makes a lot of sense

Get the hell out of here! You are nothing more than pessimistic troll that has nothing better to do than do than try to piss people off on messageboards.

A lot of people tend to care about Mr. Richardson for everything he has done to bring Football to the Carolinas and everyone within the NFL admires the man for what he brings to the sport.

How dare your ass come on this MB and say some stupid crap like that!

Like Rayzor said Good Job on screwing up a great thread!

Well it would be different if he was in Jerry's shoes -- ya know, doing everything he can to continue to live -- Oh wait a minute! That's human instinct to wanna live.

GOOD LUCK, BIG CAT!!
