Overall, I was very, very unimpressed with Michaels, and I never like listening to Madden.

I thought the announcers were absolutely terrible last night, especially Michaels. There was one play (don't remember if it was the fumble/incomplete pass), but Michaels kept calling the thing a freakin' interception after the Pittsburgh player came up with it. He also praised the Steelers for getting the first down from their own goal line for a good 5 seconds before mentioning the flag. That may be a spotter issue, but most announcers pick up on those things.
Overall, I was very, very unimpressed with Michaels, and I never like listening to Madden.
as usual, I tried to pay as little attention to the announcers as possible.

best anounce out there right now is brian billick. the few games I saw him call were great. he knows what he is talking about, and his insight actually progresses the announcing instead of the rambling of all the other retarded people.
agreed.

Billick was on the broadcast team of our first game against the Falcons. I rewatched it a while ago and he was way better than the other two nimrods on the broadcast.
