reminds me of a mike rucker type guy. between 7-10 sacks per year, depending on who he has playing with him. he isn't one of the top tier players that creates that situation, but he is good enough to benefit off of it.

I think he's a lot like Rucker as well, but more in the sense that he's a great guy to have on the team that plays hard and isn't a liability in passing or rushing situations. I think that he, along with Brayton, will be pretty good for us next year depending on what we do at the DT spot.

The kid is capable of starting, but without a good player on the opposite side (Don't say brayton) I don't believe he'll be all that and a bag of chips.

Ron Meeks will bring the heat and the thunder next year on defense, turn our linemen into attack mode. Since we will have real defensive strategists scheming and plotting against the toughest set of opponents in the league next season, Charles Johnson will be a force up front. He'll struggle against the run undersized but our linebackers will take up some of that slack for him. I'd love to see him put on 10 solid pounds of muscle.

I think he looks promising as a starting defensive end. He has had to sit and wait his turn but now he has a shot to start. I think he as a good motor and can produce double digit sacks. Agree? Disagree?

Yes! He could be a very good player.

But how many plays was he on the field for in 2008? I'm wondering if his sacks per number of plays ratio is higher than Peppers.

i can gurantee u that his was ratio was higher without even looking it up...so therefore yes he can be a 10 sack guy
