WASHINGTON -- The NFL players' union confirms it has filed a collusion claim against the league's owners.

The case has been filed with the same special master who is considering the union's complaint about the league's TV contracts.

While the owners are all meeting in Atlanta dealing with lockout issues, the players union decides to file charges instead of focusing on the CBA. Nice work, DeMaurice Smith, you douche. This action comes just 2 weeks after your last complaint that the owners unfairly negotiated a new TV contract with the networks.

Here's a thought, Smith. Why not try something productive instead of simply complaining and filing charges every time something doesn't go your way? Because you're a f****** lawyer, that's why.

Smith isn't interested in a resolution to this. He's doing his part at dismantling the NFL as an Organization. Not enough votes for his side of the political spectrum.

lockout feels more and more likely. I just have this sinking feeling that the players think the owners "wouldn't dare" to lock them out.

What I don't think most people are aware of, is that this issue is FAR more political than economic at this point.
