I am with Smitty on this one 100%. Make the tight end a weapon, put Smitty in motion and mix things up a bit. We might try 4 receiver sets and an attacking passing style to make throwing the ball something other the recourse of last resort.

Nah.................

If you find ways to free Smitty up, he becomes a dangerous weapon again. This is also why we need to bring in someone capable of starting, because if Jimmy doesn't step up then we need someone that can take advantage by getting the ball to Steve in a position to make a play.

JR won't let Smith get traded or leave...

...That being said, I think that with his career winding down and the way he treats younger players that he does more harm in the locker room than good for this team on the field

yeah, I heard you were going to be in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie..

...That being said, I think that with his career winding down and the way he treats younger players that he does more harm in the locker room than good for this team on the field

he actually put in a lot of effort last year to help Clausen keep his head in the game..
