Just saw that the phins are making signing dWill a top priority.

Phins want in 2011," writes Kelly. The Dolphins certainly make sense as a landing spot for Williams, though his age (28) and failure to stay healthy through 16 games in a committee attack are impediments to a mega contract. "He's a mold of what [the] Phins want in 2011," writes Kelly. The Dolphins certainly make sense as a landing spot for Williams, though his age (28) and failure to stay healthy through 16 games in a committee attack are impediments to a mega contract. Is that kind of language really necessary?

I really hope we can keep DWill. He his a great back. I would love to keep Double Trouble locked up for a long time. As far as Goodson, if his stock raised because of a few performances and someone reaches out, I say send him. I am not sold on him plus he is not a complete back like the other two.

I guess we'll have to wait if the new CBA allows for sign and trades. I would certainly give him up for a 2nd rounder instead of overpaying him but I don't know if we will even have the option of trading him should we decide to resign.

we would have to tag and trade him......

Carolina could get screwed and be forced to use that tag on someone like Kalil......and DeAngelo walks like Pep. A valuable and top tier guy that Carolina gets squat for.

He wants to be here, the Panthers want him, unlike someone else that left last season.

I would honestly tag Kalil over dwill. We have 2 good backs, we have no good backup centers.

People here are hilarious...we didn't get anything for Peppers in the same contract situation...make peace with deangelos departure it was all but a certainty after sttewart and goodson showed their talent

I for one hope the Panthers re-sign D-Will. He is by far our best option at RB.

I don't think it is that cut and dry.

this is DeAngleo's last shot at serious cash/contract. DeAngleo probably will be a businessman about all this. These are professional athletes.....they look after themselves. Williams will go where the money is and where he is most happy.
