Now if one stays on the bench his whole NFL career, but the other wins MVP of the UFL... then how am I supposed to answer the question?

Pie is not an option, its not a valid poll...

Armanti, simply because of his unknowns. We really havent seen him play. If you can deduce that he's garbage from his limited time on the field, your powers of football insight are too vast for this here forum, but I appreciate you presence among us mere mortals...

I agree Clausen deserves another shot, but the 3 plays that he did get time to do something, he didnt... Id love the kid to develop into the QB we need, not elite per say, but consistent, confident and competent...

Armanti is a Wide Reciever, not a QB. Jimmy is a QB. Alot of teams shuffle QB's around, but they still get their time to shine. Converted Wide Recievers on the other hand, keep the bench warm for the starters.

Edwards was a WR under the last system, he very well may be tried at QB with a new system. Doubtful but possible.

edwards has more potential, he's super raw at the position though.

Better chance for what? Being a WR, punt returner or getting cut?

AE for all of those.

If this is some joke thread about the QB position then....NOT FUNNY!

Last I checked Clausen was listed as our starting QB and AE was still trying to figure out at what position he needs to line up, so.....there's no argument here.

This is actually a pretty interesting thread considering the conflagration that surrounds both '10 picks.

I think in a good offense w/ time...AE becomes a fan favorite. He might not have a HUGE role but he will be a playmaker.

I have no idea how to evaluate AE because he got so little playing time this year. He could be huge, or he could be a gigantic disappointment.

weren't randle el and hines ward college qb's. i guess that makes since if you consider they're a working class team and keep their own dam spots warm.

Posted ImageI like Armanti. I'm sorry he didn't get more playing time to showcase what he can do -- at QB. Learning receiver is not as easy as it looks. I believe you try to put a guy where he's comfortable if at all possible, ala The Golden Calf of Bristol. He's not a FB; he's a QB. Same goes for Armanti at QB vs. WR.
just stated by Eugene Robinson .......

Armanti is a QB, no if's ands or but's about it.
