Browns have informed NT Shaun Rogers he will be released. Rogers, 31, has had off field issues and was due to make $5.5M w/ a $500k bonus

that will be taken into consideration. He'll find work somewhere.

A few years ago I would have been all about signing this guy, but I think he's fallen way off...

Doubtful he ends up here, but he'd be an upgrade IMO.

It's actually quite a purge

Browns announced they cut LBs Eric Barton and David Bowens, DL Kenyon Coleman and Shaun Rogers, TE Robert Royal and OL John St. Clair.

Dallas will grab him. Rob Ryan is the new DC. their DL is getting ready to get deeper.

I'd love to have him, but character issues will keep him away from here.

Him and Fairley would be a nasty DT combo.

It's funny how half the people here want to throw away the only #1 overall pick this franchise has ever had on some unproven DT but yet there's a proven 3X pro bowler we can get for next to nothing and everyones like "nuh uh, he's a big meanie head"

And hell let's not even mention the fact that Fairley the guy everyone wants to drool over has just as many character concerns as Rodgers does.
