An abrasive business man looking out for the interest of his business and not jock-coddling an all-star like the rest of the league?? for shame!

That's my whole point...you can't compare the NFL to a regular business. There are millions of union workers out there making $60,000 a year or less who risk bodily harm and even death, in some cases, and they have to do it on a daily basis and well in to their 60's. So let's not pretend that these poor football players have it so rough.

Why did you say you can't compare the NFL to a regular business and then compared the NFL to union workers?

There are right ways and wrong ways of protecting your business.

I'm not sure he is doing it the right way.

We will see.

JR can always get away with it by claiming Alzheimers.

Your point was pretty dumb and has nothing to do with the argument at hand.

My retarded dog got your point.

And I never compared the NFL to a car dealership either, smartass. And BTW, were you there when JR was speaking?

Agreed. There are countless threads where owner vs players is being debated already. I take the side of the owners but that has nothing to do with thinking Richardson's behavior is improper.

Well unless you were there, then you don't know what our owners behavior was in the first place. So instead of arguing something I have no first hand knowledge of, I made the point that the owners have every right to stand up for what they believe in. So sue me.

You are arguing that Jay Feely is lying in the interview provided above?

Your blind defense of Jerry has reached absurdity

I'm commenting on the quote that lead to the creation of this thread and you are blabbering on about 60 year old union workers and car dealerships and who knows what. We get it, you side with the owners. However, this is a different discussion.
