There is a distinct difference in "discussing" and "making fun of")

Yes, there sure is.

Not sure how this is relevant though, as no one has made fun of religion today from as far as I know.

How does one link the imaginary?

That's certainly a conundrum.

I just hope this poor Waaaaaambulance driver gets reimbursed for mileage he's been piling up recently.

I discuss using humor, as waiting for a coherent answer concerning something that cannot actually be explained is sure to get boring real quick.

But really, don't create a thread like this if you are not prepared to get it back in spades.

So some religion is as important to them as their family. How would you feel if someone threw racial slurs at your children ? To some it's the same thing.

I will be the first to say the major flaw in religion is people.

(I mention such because we share the same chance of that happening to a kidlett (well me in the future) )

The thought that some would take something as arbitrary as religious affiliation (and it IS arbitrary, becuz if you were born somewhere else, you'd believe something else) as srsly as their children SHOULD be sobering to logical people.

And it would explain the lunacy associated with some people's religious actions as dictated by their beliefs.

Defense = whining
Discussion = whining

Now that you mention it, Catholics are the devil and serve only their pagan roman pope.

You do know there are more then just one catholic right? There are actually seven the only you ever hear about is the roman catholic... the other six are still under the pope but do not believe the same beliefs as the romans...

Though we all now know it's a completely unsubstantiated claim, I've still yet to see anyone on here tell someone else they're "stupid" or an "idiot" because they are a person of faith.

hey i stayed out of this thread!

but since you ask, yes, and it's true. if you believe in the supernatural you are a superlunatic. then again, most don't really believe it, they're just too scared not to.

it's evident in the fact that religious people, mainly christians and muslims, by and large have a sickening disregard for human life and dignity.

(waits to see how many pages get added to the thread)
