You spend too much time on stats. My point was that NC State played hard and were very competitive last night. They could have beaten quite a few ACC teams with that kind of effort.

Jesus Christ...am I actually gonna have to defend NC State from your BS too? I feel sick.

The stats back up what I saw, besides the first 10 minutes I didn't think Nc State looked even average. They played hard the first 10 minutes and the rest of the game not so much. Neither team looked good last night, the second half unc took control when Leslie took it upon himself to try and play a one on one game with Henson that he lost badly. unc is better and more talented and that is why they won, in my eyes Nc State was the same team last night as they have been all year, they can play hard for a few minutes but can't sustain it for the entire game. Their is talent there but Lowe can't seem to make it work.

Like I said you must be too young to remember Hansbrough playing for the heels, he spent more time on his back then a porn star.

[/IMG]

I guess setting the ACC scoring record on his back all the time makes JJ's 2nd place in scoring look worse.

I definitely remember a certain senior night at Hansbrough Indoor Stadium

Everybody in the country knows about Duke and flopping. You can downplay it all you want, but it won't change the truth.

Are you heels fans that blind or is it just denial? Hansbrough was the biggest flopper the Acc has ever seen and Zeller is picking up right where he left off. I have given you examples, shown you pics, and shown you video of all of this and all you can do is say "Everybody in the country knows about Duke and flopping.". I have said it before and will say it again, show me, give me examples or articles. Like I told Stan just because YOU say it doesn't make it a fact. Just look at Tarpanther on the Duke thread talking about K petitioning the NCAA to have 15 losses removed from his record, that couldn't be further from the truth you guys just make stuff up and try and sell it off as facts.

/end debate.

That was the KING of all flops. There is no possible excuse for that kind of horseshit in basketball, but dook players are notorious for it.

State hung with a good unc team for the entire game...we could have won that game on talent alone. That is the most frustrating aspect of our team...I hope they all stay to play for the new coach

I agree. I was very impressed with the energy and effort they played with in that game. It's too little too late for Sid though.

Congrats to State fans hard fought loss. Good luck finding a coach in the off season Lowe just ain't getting it done. Ya'll got better talent than record shows.

about bigpussdaddy's derailment of this thread:
Shane Battier .......... end of thread.
Battier inventor of the Flop.
JJ Redick inventor of the 3 point flop. You know the one where defensive player makes a run at jumpshooter and shooter throws leg out to the side to hit defensive player thus getting 3 free throws for a basic bail out flop... Scheyer learned this from Redick and went on to become the master of it.
Dude you need to STFU you are by far the most obnoxious poster on this site.

BTW how do you put someone on IGNORE?? Thank goodness I figured it out , got to be one of the best things invented "IGNORE" should have done this much sooner

Really, are you that stupid? Get your head out of your @ss I didn't derail this thread talk to your fellow heels fan Tarpanther. I speak the truth and back up what I say with facts so if you don't like it head over to the IC where you will probably fit in.

In every one of those the offensive player was using their off hand to create space...that's a foul every time. Paulus fell down before the man even got close to him...why do you think people call Paulus the fainting goat?

dook's preseason training regimen:

dook's preseason training regimen:

Really? Have you ever played basketball? When you are driving by a player you always have you off arm up to feel/fend off the defensive player and when that defensive player flops your off arm goes with it. A flop is a flop Duke does it, unc does it but nobody ever got away with it like Hansbrough did, no way those point guards sent him flying across the floor like that. That is why he is called Hansflop.

You have only named on UNC player that, you think, flopped during his career. We are talking about everyone that has ever played for dook. Flopping is taught right up there with shooting 3's and floor slapping at dook.

Let's not forget this one either
