I shall call him Mr. Obama only for a time period of the same length as the "mainstream" media called President Bush, Mr. Bush.

mega_shok.gifSo, did you write that date down? My point is people in the media should show some respect for the office no matter the person sitting behind the desk. It's one thing for teh average American to call him Mr. or Obama or whatever you want.

Did you pay any attention to the last 8 years? There was no respect there, at all. American politics are cartoonish.

Several times today on Faux news I heard Correspondants call the President that. For 8 years it was President Bush. But Get a Dem in there and it's Mr. I remember hearing reporters call Clinton that. Sounds a little disrespectful don't you think? I always thought you were supposed to refer to the President as President_________ or Mr. President.

i found it disrespectful that mr obama was calling the press by their first names tonight during the "press conference."

but yes, i think "Mr." is better than lying, devious, piece of poo.

I'm sure the press corps appreciates your sincere concern.

you should link a mainstream news report that called him mr. bush. maybe a youtube or something. i'd be curious to see it, i can't recall hearing mr. bush before.
