There was this really rough time in my childhood, probably when I was around 14, my mom and I moved from Jersey where we lived out to California - she got a job transfer. We lived in this crappy apartment, but for some reason I went to this upscale public high school. Anyway, as it usually goes, I started talking to this girl who apparently had recently broken up with this a-hole pretty boy. Turns out he and about five of his friends were really into martial arts, and that guy kicked my ass good one night at a beach party.

So anyway, I keep seeing these dudes at school and they always fug with me. One day I was at soccer tryouts - a shoe in to make the team, and one of those punks took me out with a hard slide tackle, so I punched him in the face and the coach kicked me out. I know I would have made the team, this really pissed me off.

So now I want to fug with these guys, so at the halloween dance, one of these guys is in a bathroom stall rolling a joint, and I rigged up this water hose over the top of the stall, turned it on and ran like hell. Problem was, he and all his boys chased me down and caught me just before getting back to my apartment complex. They pulled me off the fence and beat the crap out of me, all of them. They would have killed me had it not been for this old guy who was the maintenance man at the apartments. He saved me that night and kicked some of those guys asses.

Anyway, long story short, that old Asian dude trained me how to defend myself with martial arts, I entered this local tournament, and as luck would have it, got to kick each guy's ass who had been bullying me as I advanced through the tournament. I won the whole thing by beating up the guy who started it all. Oh, and I got the girl when all was said and done.

You can't make this stuff up.

The 7th grade. The only time I've been in a fight before, besides, screwing around and boxing with friends.

I'm not a fighter. If I got into one I know I could defend myself, I know some judo and locks and I'm a decent sized (6'3" 180) guy, so if I needed to defend myself then unless you get a good I'm going to feel bad for what might I do. Fighting isn't in my genes, but if I absolutely needed to I'm prepared to seriously injur a man to defend myself.

I don't think i ever got into a real fight. maybe 2 in elementary school. the first time i got hit this kid smacked me in the face when i was like 5, i cried like a bitch and told my mom.

Met one of my lifelong best friends for the first time when we were both just three.

Our older brothers knew each other, and every time they met up, their standard greeting was to slam each other to the ground.

My buddy, being a keen observer, assumed this was the proper way to say hello.

When they introduced us, I reached out to shake hands, and... :(

It was sometime around '95. Me, the wife and some friends were going to a club to dance, play pool & have some drinks. While we were in the parking lot some guy & his friend was obviously drunk and was yelling at us so we all stopped to see what he was saying. For some reason he singled me out and just suddenly slapped my face. It was unexpected and caught me off guard. Adrenaline took over and I found myself on top of him punching his face into the pavement. I know I broke his front teeth out and the next thing I know a couple of bouncers were pulling me off this guy and to my surprise the bouncer raised my hand as if I were some champ and labeled me "the human sewing machine", then I looked around and the whole parking lot was full of people applauding me.

This was more surprising than the guy that slapped me, I was like, where did all these people come from? The bouncer invited all of us (my party) in with no cover charge and a free drink on the house. I found out that the guy that attacked me had been causing trouble in the club for some time and they had just thrown him out the bar so I was at the right or wrong place at the right or wrong time. I thanked the bouncer but I was in no frame of mind to celebrate. I had blood splatter on my shirt, I was shaking more than Don Knotts in the "shakiest gun in the west" movie. All I wanted to do was leave and go collect myself, shower and put some fresh clothes on while drinking a few beers to try and make some sense of this weird night.
This is a true story, last fight I've had, and hopefully will EVER have again and without a doubt, the strangest!

I did amateur boxing for about 12yrs, so unlike the rest of you un-defeated juggernauts I have taken the proverbial ass kicking.

But I absolutely try to avoid street fight BS at all costs, there was a couple times In HS when I didn't know any better and punks wanted to see if they could beat the boxer and NO THEY COULDN'T, but I ended up getting suspended and all that BS, its just not worth it.

Especially these days, what am I suppose to do just lay waste to some drunk Asshole who mouths off so I can be hit with an assault charge or lawsuit, f*ck that, its absolutely not worth it.

I'll defend my family at all costs anything else is just BS.

Undefeated? My amateur record is 1-43546546 because I got my ass kicked every day for being white.

My professional record? 9-1 and coming to a city near you

They always say it isn't about whether or not you get knocked down, but rather if you get up and stay in the fight.

I should add I have ZERO experience with the above mentioned determination.

Or as I have told my chillun: "It's not the size of the dog in a fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." (not to be confused as a Vick fan)

I knocked out the future high school QB when we were 10. He threw dirt in my eyes once so my Dad told me that if I didn't kick his ass he'd kick mine. So I got him in my backyard and kicked him twice in the stomach to double him over, then hit him once or twice in the face to make him hit the ground. Then I took his back BJ Penn style and just rained down punches until I was afraid that he was hurt.

I think I made my Dad proud.

I've always been the skinny white boy that was way too feisty for his size. Back in middle school and early high school, I used to get in fights all the time. I was 4-0 against white kids, 0-3 against black kids..

The 'fights' against the black kids weren't really fights, but straight one hit punishments. I jumped on a black kid's back, he popped me in the face, I was out. I told a black kid to shut up, he punched me in the face, I was done. I stole a black kid's basketball in a schoolyard basketball game, he punched me the f*ck out.

Moral of the story?? Don't mess with black guys.

For the record, I have lost a fight. My friends said I won but I know he got the better of me. This guy knew how to fight pretty good.

I used to tell my son if anyone picks on him to stand up to him even if you don't win, bullies will remember the ones that hit back. It does work, most bullies don't like guys that will fight them. I also told him he better not be the one starting the fight.
