Peterson is the closest thing to a sure thing future pro bowler in this draft. He would step in day one as a starter and improve this team a great deal on both defense and special teams as a returner. Patrick Peterson on Roddy White twice a year? Yes please.

You could put AJ Green in there if you Are going on a more sure fire pick IMO. Still think biggest need is a DT and should go w/ the man that knows how to get out of the woods.
Lol, follow the moss!

I'm okay with that, and it guarantees we'll have the #1 pick again next year.
Um, drafting a project QB is less likely to make us better next year.

With the other draft picks, build some depth at OL, DE, and possibly WR.
The offense needs to mature. They are young. A veteran leader is needed here for a while. Be patient and we will find a franchise QB soon. Heck, you would have to be patient with Cam anyway.

I love PP but he doesn't do anything to fix our QB problems.
That is based on the assumption that the QB problems have to be addressed in the draft, in the first round. I understand your frustration. And maybe they like Cam or Blaine, but the D needs some studs too. There are great WRs and QBs in our conference who must be stopped. Ideally, trade down.
My Board after trading down about 4-8 spots and accumulating picks:
Peterson
Quinn
Dareus
Bowers
Fairley
Newton
Gabbert
Green
I would not trade lower than Tennessee at #8. At least one falls. That is the benefit of having multiple needs. Considering Von Miller is going top 6 probably, you would likely get your choice between two of these players. By dropping to #7 or #8, you would get a second rounder and probably a third rounder minimally for a player you might have chosen first overall anyway. More picks, lower salary Win Win.
