Winning draws free agents, not media attention.

Smart GMs go for the best players. Any GM who factors hype and media attention into who he drafts is a moron.

Agree.

The Panthers were set back by Tommy Jone Jake, Moore, and Clausen. Lost 2 seasons behind them. We're the worst team in the league, and one of the most boring.

That funny you mention Moore on that list, 'cause when we let Jake go you said Moore will be the better QB & help us win. And now you're flip flopping there with putting him on the list. That show you're nothing but a liar & always making up lies and excuses. I bet if Newton was here last season & play the same like Clausen, you wouldn't put his name up with saying the Panthers are set back Jake & Moore. :smilielol5:

And it's Tommy John, not Tommy Jone.

Check that out KT. Thread from October and you wanted Pryor not Cam. So please explain to me how you have wanted one guy since October when Pryor and Cam are two different people.

Too bad Kingy won't admit anything & just make excuses. Sad really he has to bring up your age, when you clearly sound more intelligent than him.

This should help explain: Tommy Jone

It's been kind of a running gag since then.

Reward: A potential Super Star QB that would attract attention to this cit for the first time since.....well ever. There would not be an empty seat in Bank of America, people would finally be talking about the Carolina Panthers, and thats before he steps on the field. Then, once the CBA is settled, and Cam finally plays, he has the potential to become the next Mike Vick. Excitement, fun, and a winner most importantly. He would be here for the next 10 years, getting this team on the map, hopefully winning championships along the way.

Risk:He bust out and after 2 or 3 years we release him and look for another QB.

Damn how wrong was I..

I sure do agree with you, I'd take Gabbert over Newton anyday.

We'd be getting a better player both on and off the field.

I lol'd.
