6'5 running a 4.4 he could be a tall WR like a VJ or Malcolm Ford.

I just don't think they would be looking at him for WR with the numbers we already have there. I don't think they're going to trade Smitty so you've got Smitty / Gettis / LaFell / Edwards (I believe this staff honestly can turn him into a productive WR). Also we may very well draft A.J. Green so if we pick up Ballard I see it being as a project TE. He definitely has the skill set of a Tony Gonzalez or Antonio Gates....

if we go after AJ i can than see him changing into a TE, but even than SD seemed to have a lot of WR prospects and depth. even last year we had more WR on the team than Fox would be accustomed too.

I actually go to Western Oregon with him, dude is a monster. Would be nice to see him running routes in the pros
