Except you have a lot more credibility in the Newton threads. In this one you just sound foolish.

No, the homers in this one are just more united because he's a NC guy.

I know the type of person he is and I think he's a POS.

I also know that people tend to look back on athletes from different eras and think there is no way that today's athletes can compare and they are never as good no matter what they accomplish.

Barry Sanders is a perfect example.

And you're not biased as an LA resident, Laker fan, and Kobe slurper? Please.

It's evident you've got no argument on this one (Kobe being on Michael's level), but thanks for playing.

I wasn't trying to argue that originally and I said with a few more rings he's 100% in the discussion, which is true.

He's loosely in the discussion now

So much for MJ being a good guy...

“It’s gone on long enough,” said a source close to Jordan. “Michael is not going to sit by while some kid attempts to forge a new basketball legacy in Chicago. Michael is adamant that he always be the King of Chicago. So Derrick must die.”

Despite Rose winning NBA Rookie of the Year two seasons ago and making the All-Star team last year, Jordan reportedly did not become threatened by the 22 year-old star until very recently.

“Mike didn’t think Rose would ever be much of a player,” said a Charlotte Bobcats staff member who wished to remain anonymous, “because he is a terrible, terrible, terrible judge of talent. Just terrible. Really, a few years ago he was worried that Kirk Hinrich would challenge all of his Bulls records. Derrick even being a serviceable NBA player caught Michael by complete surprise.”

Someone on Jordan's staff outright insulting their boss in that manner? Someone needs to fire the ungrateful whelp.

Michael Jordan won 11 NBA MVP Awards, Kobe Bryant has 3 NBA MVP Awards. Would someone please explain to me how that warrants him being held in the same breath as Michael Jordan?

You're either in denial, haven't watched much game tape on Jordan, or both. No former or current player is even close to what Michael Jordan was on the basketball court, & I doubt anyone ever will be.

Kinda like Kobe Bryant fans have a hard time admitting that Dwayne Wade is better than Kobe bc they cling onto those 3 titles Shaq won for him as a gift.

By my count Shaq has 3 titles Kobe 2 and Wade 1.
