Dukes: "Ryan Mallett is the Eminem/Vanilla Ice of QBs

Recommended Posts

He's just a kid. I think often times we are way to rough on these "kids". His attitude can grow and develop. I don't like him because he's slower than a statue in the pocket and a team with a great pass blocking Oline will scoop him up.

It's sad when everybody is supposed to have a gag order about the obvious. Mallet looks like he should have a wife beater on hanging out in bars on East Independence, but before he goes out he "hollas" at his girl working behind the counter at a gas station while wearing a DC hat at a 45 degree angle. I see poor guys that drive old eclipses that fit the Mallet description on an everyday basis.

If I can beat a QB in a 40 then we need to look else where.

I don't know about that. Marv Levy said he could beat Jim Kelly in a 40...and I believe him :D

Wow, is it possible to be a bigger dip poo? I mean do you work at it or is it genetic?

Peyton, Philip, and Tom say hello.

Not saying that I like Mallet, but I don't care one bit if they run the 40 well, as long as they can "feel" the pocket.

It's genetic but you also have to refine your technique in practice. Live and let live, I do believe that. But I call a spade a spade. Mallet has hung in a coke bar once or twice everyone knows that.

Did anyone see the SI cover of Roethlisberger with his pit bulls and electric green Impala? Pretty sure that the NFL isn't scooting around the issue of a "street white QB."
