The Lannisters are a bunch of assholes. The little boy is a pussy. I like the dwarf though.
Pretty good show so far. It's got a little something for everybody...incest, dwarves, girl on girl action, etc.
BTW...anyone else kind of dislike Ned's wife being all bitchy about Snow?
We were watching with my daughter's (22 and 14) and getting the 14 yo up to speed with the characters. When it came to Snow, she asked what was the relationship and we told her.
IRL, I have a son from a former GF that we get on weekends and mid-week. I told her that Snow was like her Brother. As the show went on, my daughter went up to MamaSan and hugged her crying because she doesn't treat my other son like the lady in the movie treats Snow.
I got a bit misty eyed.

I'd like to see the Queen and her son get stabbed in the throat.
The son especially.. just based on the way he looks alone.

Also I like how they're actually adding in scenes and dialogue that weren't in the books, and using them to enrich the plot and characters as opposed to changing it.
For those of you that are curious, things from the last episode that weren't in the books:
Jaime and Jon's conversation about the Night Watch.
Cersei's dialogue about losing her firstborn child to a fever.
EDIT: If you've read all the books and don't quite understand the potential connection between Jon Snow and the Targaryens, PM me and I'll be happy to fill you in on the general theory.
