that's probably the bare minimum. he hasn't ruled out splitting the 6th book into two books either.

link? Sometimes if the cancer has progressed enough there is no reason to bother trying to treat it because treatment will just kill you faster.The actor who plays Ilyn Payne found out he has cancer, and isn't going to treat it...
Sucks...

Yeah, that's very unfortunate :-(
once a cancer is considered Terminal there really is no point in trying to treat it, with that said I hope with something like that that he at least sought out a second and third opinion, before coming to that conclusion.
My Dad was Diagnosed with Terminal Cancer almost 4 years ago and was given 2 weeks to live and he ended making it 9 months.
