Roy Williams got a 1st, 3rd, and 6th. And he is fuging terrible. Smith, even at his age, SHOULD command a 2nd or 3rd provided your GM isn't a complete dumbass and he's not telling everyone publicly that he wants out, undermining your position (Sup Peppers you goofy-looking hipster retard)

I'd love to see him catch passes from Peyton, Brady, or Rivers. Brees would be nice if he weren't in our division. Smitty still has enough in the tank to ROCK a season. Just look what Moss and Brady did a few years ago. He deserves to be on a winner.

Funny he thinks he has a choice on the team he would get traded to.

lol wtf

ESPN AFC West blogger Bill Williamson suggests the Broncos could be a "legitimate possibility" to trade for Panthers WR Steve Smith.
A Smith trade is now beginning to look probable rather than just possible. New coach John Fox had Smith in Carolina for 10 years, and the two had a "good relationship." Kyle Orton and The Golden Calf of Bristol would be an upgrade on Jimmy Clausen and Cam Newton, but a trade to Denver wouldn't solve Smith's wish of joining a contender. The Broncos also have far greater needs than wide receiver. Apr. 26 - 9:11 pm et

It sucks but what can you do?

He will always be my favorite player (not sure how that started). But Carolina is my team and always will be. I'll watch and pull for Smitty, but at the end of the day, I'd rather he be here.

I'm sitting here asking myself "why the Ravens?"

You're not the only one

From their perspective, you could argue there's a bigger need for him than in San Diego.

Plus a defense that will stop the opposing offense and give him more chances for TDS.....

Houshmandzadeh finished the year with fewer catches than LaFell or Gettis, if I remember correctly.
