One of the culprits has revealed himself. The only "change" Newton needs to make is from spread to pro style offense. Thanks.

He has gone home due to the lockout. He has a playbook to learn, and working out with teammates would help him learn that tremendously. He went home instead, using the lockout as an excuse. Unless I don't know the whole story, and I am sure someone who doesn't know the story either will jump in to defend his actions, this could be the beginning of the work ethic criticisms. Do you want to be great, Cam? If you all want to crown him because he won 14 games in a simple offense in college do so, but not in the name of the Panthers. He has done nothing for us yet.

You my friend are an idiot! There's 31 other teams in the NFL, do us all a favor and choose one.

Please stop saying that. Make something else up. I don't want our new franchise QB to be associated with politics.

Thanks.

Who is US? Everyone who thinks like you do?

I do admire your ability to call someone a name without getting your teeth rearranged. I imagine the internet has done wonders for your self-esteem and saved you a few caps.

Frankly, a personal attack is usually the tactic of a person without a concrete argument.

I would have no problem calling you an idiot to your face. Trust me!

edit: Furthermore you need to get over the fact that your golden boy "Gabbert" wasn't drafted by the Panthers. The guy is nothing more than media hype, get over it!

I don't get how Panther fans can hate on Newton. This argument about him going home is really dumb. The guy has been on a whirlwind tour this past week. He didn't even have enough clothes to wear at Gross's kickball event. He met with the staff, corporate sponsors, media, and did a team function at JG's kickball tourney. I don't blame the guy for wanting to go home and pack up his sh*t and get his personal things in order befoe he moves to Charlotte to start his professional career.

Good lord people. We got a potential game changer on our roster that could transform this team and organization into something huge. Let the guy go home to take a sh*t on his own john.

Wrong thread. Stop hatin on my boy, I was once a hater but now I'm on the train, because I'm a true fan and not a skeptic. Be a panthers fan or gtfo.

You don't have to like ANY of our players to be a "true fan."

Well if that marginal nfl qb comes in and after one win someone posts a mission accomplished sign Then i will rip him just as much as when they say yes we cam. Both are retarded sayings from 2 huge failures of so called presidents.

We also have potentially a bust that will destroy our franchise and transform it into the LA Panthers. Who gives a poo about potential. After he does something then I will make up my mind whether I support him or not as a starting QB. Fugger can't just walk in off the street like he owns the place. Put potential in one hand and poo in the other and we all know which one will fill up faster. Potential is nothing but we can HOPE he works out.

What I'm saying is that Newton does not have any ties to politics, keep it that way. Why relate a franchise player to a political failure? Doesn't make sense to me. Get a new slogan please.

it doesn't make sense to me why you're so uptight about it. I haven't seen anybody on the forum bring up politics but you. To look at it from the angle you are seeing it, I actually think it helps ease political tension as it involves something we all enjoy. Sports has always been a great equalizer in every respect including for the fans. Donkeys and Elephants don't matter, only Panthers(rawr). I can't even comprehend how something this trivial could bother somebody.

I like it as well as any other concepts people come up with. "We Cam Do It"(Rosie the riveter) or "Cam We Fix it?"(Bob the Builder) would great too.
If you're seeing political lines then you need to chillax.
