You need to learn to read twitter. Person comment was "sign point to no"

Even if he brings his trade value up by winning some games this year if Cam isn't ready to start, what are you realistically going to get for him? And just who would want him?

I'd love for him to get a fair shake somewhere, but the Panthers need to get something tangible for him.

I would take a 5th rounder just to get rid of the fumbles, check downs, and passes out of bounds.

If you can claim a 6th round pick for him right now, do you do it?

In hindsight, I can't believe our hopes at the QB position were ever tied to Jimmy Freakin' Clausen. Are we clueless or what?

This post should read...

Last night on Audible Herm Edwards (the coach) bet both Keyshawn Johnson and Steve Young both that Jimmy wouldn't be a Panther once free agency commences... He bet both if them a $2 bill...

^ At least that really happened!

maybe I'm just tired, but I think you guys are wrong.

Someone asked Person if Clausen would be a Panther after the trade deadline this year. He said signs point to no.

Whether that means he'll be traded or release, I don't know.

He was asked a direct question "Look into your crystal ball, is Clausen a Panther after the trade deadline this coming season?"

and he responded "Signs point to no"

Which means that he doesn't think that Clausen will be a panther after the trade deadline. I think it's pretty obvious, i don't know how you could read that any other way.
WTF would we get for him? Not gonna happen IMO.
1. It would give Clausen a chance (this isn't the offense he will have a chance in and is basically a wasted year). He is a WC QB without a doubt.

2. It would clear a roster spot to be filled by someone who fits a better role on the QB depth chart AND fits what Chud does.

It ain't about what you can get for Clausen which is little if anything.....it is about what is best for both parties.
