That's what's gonna happen. There gonna act like they never doubted him and downplay the scrutiny he's been getting. Nobody will admit they were wrong and misguided.

and you will win

I'd like to see how many people will question Cam being the #1 pick when we win the division this year with the Hardest schedule in the League...

And if you can look at the The Golden Calf of Bristol/Clausen rookie seasons to show that there may be some flaws in the Pro Ready vs Raw Project QB argument I am just saying. Your right no one knows who will pan out or bust that's why I hate that pro ready label with any prospect.

Considering Cam has similar question marks compared to The Golden Calf of Bristol coming out of the collegiate level. You can't fault people for believing in Cam w/ him Cam being a better passer than The Golden Calf of Bristol and then seeing how promising The Golden Calf of Bristol was as a rookie. It makes you think why can't Cam be as productive as The Golden Calf of Bristol was? being he's a more gifted passer/with the same will to win The Golden Calf of Bristol has...

I think he is a far more gifted athlete than The Golden Calf of Bristol is. I will give The Golden Calf of Bristol the edge on "will to win" but not by much. I also believe Newton is a true student of the game and of the art of being a QB.

People question on whether he is going to be able to read defenses. But he isn't going to be alone at it. He will have the OC, QB coach and others in the film room helping him. Teaching him how to diagnose a defense, How to read keys. While it may be complex, every QB from Unitas to Manning had to learn what the defense is doing.

I remember when I started bowling again. I was serious about it. I wanted to be the best. I listened and learned from the pros in the pro shop and anyone I could talk to about the game. I Read books, watched video. (YEAH I was ate up) In 2 1/2 years I went from a 135-140 average bowler to Averaging in the mid 190's and bowling 2 - 300's. I wasn't the most technically sound bowler either. But I adapted well enough and listened to enough people to become very good at what I did. Did it make me a better Sailor? (USN) Not in the least bit but I was good at being the best bowler I could be. Why? Because I loved the game and wanted to be the very best.

It is the same thing with Newton. He might not be great at anything else, but his heart is in this game and he wants to learn and be the best. I think he will.

I used to be all about QB prospects having pro offense experience, but last year changed my mind completely. Clausen was my top-rated QB last year because of his experience in a pro offense. I was very weary of Bradford & The Golden Calf of Bristol & McCoy.

After seeing Clausen play the worst out of all of them I began to re-evaluate my opinion there.
