For example, I have no problem with people believing that men can't marry. I do have a problem with people who want to make sure that men can't marry. Is it possible for you to see the difference?

So, it's OK for them to believe something enough to say it, but not enough to back it up .... do you feel the same way about elements of a liberal agenda?

Provide an example? Like - I may argue that organized religion is overall more of a bad thing than a good thing, but I would never support a proposition that makes it illegal to belong to an organized religion. Like that?

Why do liberals have to have "agendas"?

And by not "backing up" my opinion with action designed to deprive another of their free will, does that mean I have no backbone or something?

So the term exists solely to give conservatives with no ability to grasp nuance something to glom on to.

I don't know what nuance means. Could you explain?

Do you think that if the Christian Right campaigned for making divorce illegal (by say, a Constitutional Amendment), and made sure that their own people followed that principle before that campaign, that their moral crusade against homosexual rights might not be derided as hypocritical and self-serving so badly?

The bible actually states certain terms that allow for a divorce. I haven't read anything in it that allows same sex marriages..

What are the terms, exactly?

The Bible gives two clear grounds for divorce:

sexual immorality (Matthew 5:32; 19:9)

abandonment by an unbeliever (1 Corinthians 7:15).

While it isn't specifically stated in the Bible, God gave us common sense and ways to treat our spouse, if your husband beats you to a pulp every night, it's time to leave.
