Maybe somebody can help me with this. When I download a video, some play and some don't. I can get the audio but all I get is static for the video. Is the file corrupted or do I need a plug in to view some videos?

Okay, I downloaded it into the machine. And I guess it's automatic, cuz I couldn't find a way to enable it. I'll find out later on a video that didn't play and let'cha know. Indefinite rep if so!!!

Just for clarification, VLC Media Player isn't a codec. It is a video/music player. Just right-click the file you want to play and you should have an option that says "Play with VLC Media Player." Didn't know if you knew it was a player. Just an fyi.
