I have a problem, my new gf does not cook at all:eek:. So most of the time I find myself cooking, or ordering delivery. I've tried to teach her how to cook and she shows no interest or effort for that matter.

So, my question is do you cook or your spouse cooks?

I cook for the most part. I'm just better at it than she is. She has a few family recipes that are good, but mostly I make better food.

A firm back hand is the best way to teach them.

How did she eat before you were around?
I think it's silly to not know how to cook at least a few things.
I can understand that she might not like to cook but not giving any effort is something else. I hate doing some things but I at least put effort into it.

Yes, I cook & I enjoy it. So much so that I've worn my stove out. lol The part came today, I'm excited!

She's very spoiled by her parents, and her Mom also does not know how to cook, cause every time we go to dinner with her parents it's always out to eat.

I guess it all depends on what makes you happy. :)

Looks like early signs of needing to give her the boot. If she won't do woman work like cooking now, she will be useless later on in life.

Best case scenario here: Y'all get married, she never attempts to cook, clean, laundry, give BJs, or do any other duty women are required to do....then you are miserable.

She can clean and do laundry, but it's just the cooking that she really does not want to do.

if we aren't out for dinner or ordering in, the wife does 100% of the cooking

Anyone can clean and do laundry...however will she? Maybe she will now...but once she sees you doing woman's work...she'll stop all of her responsibilities over time.
