Haynsworth just opened the starting bid amount for Peppers....No way we are going to give Pep that kind of money...some team will though.

we offered him 90 million last off season. What makes you think we wouldn't offer him 100 million after a much better season.

Well as of right now we are going to be paying him $17 million next season so I don't know what makes you think that. Obviously we are dumb enough to think he's worth $17 million next season when he will probably take every other game off and finish the season with 8 sacks. I want his goofy lookin ass traded as soon as possible for some damn good draft picks!

i dont think he worth it, maybe he'll have 1 more pro bowl season but thats it.

Not possible. Once you enter the season with a franchise tag on you, you can't sign a contract until free agency.

correct they have until july 15th I believe to work out a contract with Peppers if that's what they plan on doing.

I'd pay that for a franchise QB like Manning or Brady over 10 years.

I'd agree, but realistically you're worth what the market says you are.

from what i heard haynesworth had alot more teams offering him the money he wanted than they expected. if thats the case peppers should have just as many teams willing to pay him

Problem is that those teams not only have to pony up cash for Peppers they also have to deal with us in a trade. There was no trade with Hayesworth...
