Thanks to the Redskins.

Lucas is as good as DeAngelo who just got paid 54 mil for 6 years. Lucas now looks like a bargan.

Hold on just a bit longer there Hurney.

There's a lot of need for CBs, I do think we get some value out of him rather than an outright release.

w/ a new DC, why not just hold onto Lucas unless we have bigger plans in mind? I would hate for us to just cut Lucas and then Marshall or Gamble go down..

Im all for a trade but if one doesnt happen, just keep him.

we're also going to have to wait for mcfadden to get off the market, as well as i guess leigh bodden, depending on if teams remember him from cleveland or just his detroit year.

I agree, I'd like to see what Ken Lucas can do under Meeks, who is well known for letting his players play to their strengths. Maybe he will actually allow our corners to jam at the line of scrimmage?

As I said in another thread, it wasn't long ago that Lucas was considered our best corner.

Several sources have predicted that a lot of the early action in free agency will be at the corner position.

Foxworth just got 7 mill a year.
Lucas is now a bargain.
