The Panthers tendered Marshall in March, but there was never a good chance he'd return. The 26-year-old struggled along with the entire Carolina franchise last year, defending the run well but allowing over 75 percent of his intended targets to be completed, per Pro Football Focus. Marshall is still a salvageable talent. He'd make a lot of sense for a team that runs Cover 2.
That is terrible...

His smaller size means he absolutely mugs guys sometimes and many times he's gotten away with it. The last time I vividly remember was in INT in the giants game. Captain isn't nearly as bad even though he's just as small.

I heard that Patrick Peterson really wants to be a Panther... My sources tell me that he will absolutely not sign with anybody except for the Panthers. So there, that's settled.

he was serviceable as a nickleback because he was decent at coming up in run support
but he's never been a legit #2
plus, he's always given off that disgruntled player vibe... especially when it was announced that he was going to want top dollar on his next contract

There were games when tall receivers or tight ends would just destroy Marshall.....he was fine as a nickel but that's it. I would never pay top end money for a nickel

I saw that last year and wondered why lots of posters here were hugging Marshall's nuts. He fuging sucks.
Maybe they just really like nuts.
