Lets say your son or daughter would die unless you killed a person you dont know in cold blood.

Would you do it? Could you live with yourself for doing it or not doing it?

Yes. Wouldn't think twice about it. Then I'd drink a beer and take my boys to a football game to celebrate.

If it was this ambiguous, no... of course my kid's going to die. We all are eventually. A more direct threat may yield a different answer.

I've never had any faith in other people so there are a lot of things I would kill another human for.

Killing them for my own child, wouldn't even hesitate.

Depends on which kid it is. Firstborn, second, third?

Seriously though, Yes for all three.

This made for a good movie. He did what I would have done, kill the bastard who set it up before he could kill my child.
As for the question. my dilemma wouldn't be killing someone to save my child, it would be that I would be in jail and then couldn't find the bastard that set up the situation in the first place. He is the one that deserved to die and I wouldn't rest until I took the SOB out. Probably slow with lots of pain.

finally.....someone who sees how ambigious the setup was and isn't willing to say yes b/c their child was mentioned.
