They didn't want to commit to 22 episodes for the final season, so a compromise of 16 episodes was made.

I look at it as a blessing in disguise. The truly great shows like this shouldn't go on too long. Once the story is told, it's told. Plus this lets the writers build up to and ending, as opposed to what happened to Dexter last season where they had to write the season finale as a "could work for series finale but hopefully just season finale" sort of thing.

I know it's gameday so we're all preoccupied, but I'm looking forward to this, too. How does BB follow up one of the most intense moments in the history of the series? Everything's so unpredictable at this point. I can only hope Walt's madness manifests itself into cold, calculated murderousness. Don't care if it's not a word. Of course he would spare Jesse, but when Walt's back is against the wall he can tear poo up. Only problem is this time he's not going up against cokehead Tuco--how do you take down the man who eliminated the leaders of the Mexican drug cartel all in one afternoon?

either walt or jessie almost has to die at this point

or walt could just blind jessie

or jessie could follow through on killing gus

I think that when gus told jesse that he will come back for mike that he will instead leave mike behind to die in that tent.. and when jesse finds out he will then kill gus.

I think a good way for this season to end is with Jesse Killing Gus...

Who would be the villain in the final season?

Would Jesse, now knowing truly how powerful and influential Gus is, be willing to attempt to kill him just for Mike? I know Mike has been a good influence and gave him a pat on the head a few times, but I don't see Jesse doing this right now. The first time he killed someone it was to save Walt's life and he had no choice, and the second time was reactionary and self-defense.

Probably not but some other factors may come into play that would push jesse to kill gus.. maybe something to do with jesse's gf and her son.

Pretty good episode tonight. Hope we haven't seen the last of Saul. It's gonna take a bad man to bring down Gus Fring.

Yeah I seen the kid thing coming, especially after Gus threatened Walt's infant baby. Pretty much meant he lied when he said he doesn't harm kids.

I can't believe Walt thought that work would, he HIMSELF just a scene before said he is always 10 steps ahead of him. Was worth a shot.

Something crazy is going to happen next week. I'm assuming someone gets killed, or multiples. Hank, Walt Jr., Sky, someone. Insane.

Show is best on TV, and may end up being THE best by the time it's all said and done. Love it.
