The 49-year old had been incorrectly classified as brain dead by doctors. But she died for real when she heard mourners saying prayers for her soul to be taken up to heaven.

As mourning relatives filed past her open coffin they were stunned when the supposedly dead woman suddenly woke up and started screaming.

I wonder how many people have died after they "died".

This has to be in another country and rural area (outside of the UK).

They did not specify where it was. Not good reporting.

Her husband was quoted by the Austrian Times in the the story. So it's probably in Austria.

It wouldn't surprise me if it happens still today. The numbers were probably shocking back in the old days. You know back when the "graveyard shift" was started to dig up anyone that rang the bell.

Yeah, maybe they should put a hold on them just in case...like the bank does with your funds.

Used to happen frequently. They are always digging up graves with scratch marks inside of it.
