In a Monday conference call, the casino magnate credited with revitalizing Las Vegas blasted President Obama, declaring him "the greatest wet blanket to business, progress and job creation in my lifetime."

"A lot of people don't want to say that," he said. "They'll say, 'Oh God, don't be attacking Obama.' Well, this is Obama's deal, and it's Obama that's responsible for this fear in America," said Wynn. "The guy keeps making speeches about redistribution, and maybe 'we ought to do something to businesses that don't invest or (are) holding too much money.' We haven't heard that kind of talk except from pure socialists."

Business is being hammered, he said. "And I'm telling you that the business community in this country is frightened to death of the weird political philosophy of the president of the United States."

I believe in Las Vegas. I think its best days are ahead of it. But I'm afraid to do anything in the current political environment in the United States. You watch television and see what's going on on this debt ceiling issue. And what I consider to be a total lack of leadership from the President and nothing's going to get fixed until the President himself steps up and wrangles both parties in Congress. But everybody is so political, so focused on holding their job for the next year that the discussion in Washington is nauseating.

And I'm saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime. And I can prove it and I could spend the next 3 hours giving you examples of all of us in this market place that are frightened to death about all the new regulations, our healthcare costs escalate, regulations coming from left and right. A President that seems, that keeps using that word redistribution. Well, my customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration.And it makes you slow down and not invest your money. Everybody complains about how much money is on the side in America.

You bet and until we change the tempo and the conversation from Washington, it's not going to change. And those of us who have business opportunities and the capital to do it are going to sit in fear of the President. And a lot of people don't want to say that. They'll say, God, don't be attacking Obama. Well, this is Obama's deal and it's Obama that's responsible for this fear in America.

And until he's gone, everybody's going to be sitting on their thumbs.

Think about it. The guy who is saying this supports Harry Reid. That's how bad Obama policy really is.

Well when the dumb fuger goes on TV and says that the rich don't pay their fair share in taxes, when in fact, the "rich" pay almost all of the taxes, you can see why the business community is skeered of him.

Well, I'm just some dumb sales guy and all. But my hunch is it's not good when job creators are skeered to create jobs because the president has weird and dangerous policy. Especially service industry jobs that employ 93% of democratic voters. Nope, 'taint good at all.

Then again, what does that Steve Wynn guy know. He is probably some racist birther tea party plant that lucked into his billions.

No matter how much you liberals and progressives hate the corporation, the one fact you can't dodge is the corporation is what creates jobs. When the job creators are scared of a president and his weird policy, it doesn't make a flying sh*t-can where they were thinking about moving headquarters. lol there are still people out there beating the Barry the Pinko drum apparently. I particularly enjoyed the subtle "well all politicians are bad and Washington sucks" nod in the first paragraph before he prattled on non-specifically about Obama for 10000 words. Steve Wynn would fit in great on this board.

Also this guy's comments read like a Free Republic post. Just a bunch of platitudes and oogie boogie. If he's that scared of the current business environment then maybe he should ditch the casino biz and attempt to become a majority shareholder in one of the major health insurance companies that socialist Obama's weird anti-business dogma is going to create millions of new paying customers for in the coming years.

This is pure fuging word salad. These are correctly constructed sentences but they have no discernible meaning. Wrangle both parties in Congress? What does that even mean? It almost sounds like Wynn is suggesting that Obama should impose his will. "Wrangling" anything implies forceful coercion, after all. This would would at least be a coherent, if somewhat tone-deaf, message if he didn't go on to compare his rhetoric to that of "pure socialists" like two paragraphs later and if the overall tone of this screed wasn't that Barry is a socialist hell bent on destroying private enterprise.

So here's the condensed version:

"Washington is pissing me off. Obama needs to impose his will on both parties to make any progress. Obama's rhetoric is tantamount to that of pure socialists and he's scaring the business community shitless. Harry Reid"
