venom

Obama the next Jimmy Carter

I, for one, am so thankful that venom takes the time out of his busy schedule to point out the travesty of Obama's presidency. 5 weeks is plenty of time to fix 8 years of garbage. I feel nothing but anger and betrayal.

Haha, seriously. He has said it's going to take some time to get this thing moving in the right direction. OP is just someone that hated him from the get go, hope he failed, and doesn't care one way about the country as a whole.

Hey buddy, we voted him in, so obviously, the majority doesn't care what you think. Huddle Tinderbox Moron of the year? So far yes.

of course the founder's ideals were considered radical back then, they invented the democracy.

Tell me more about how they invented democracy...I'm really trying to hold back my laughter now

easy. you try and disprove me by presenting evidence attesting how Obama's ideals and policies hold up to the constitution. you try and prove to me that Obama is running an ethical operation, without a cabinet full of crooks including an advocate of child pornography. you try and explain to me how tripling the deficit, while embarking on the nation's largest spending frenzy in accordance to a bill jam packed with pork and pet projects is going to get us out of the recession the government created in the first place.

now that i think about it, youre right. you cant refute any of that, its impossible. however if you wanna try, i'm always up for a good laugh.

of course the founder's ideals were considered radical back then, they invented the democracy.

History lesson for you, Greeks started Democracy.

Athenian democracy developed Greek city-state of Athens, comprising the central city-state of Athens and the surrounding territory of Attica, around 500 BC. Athens was one of the very first known democracies. Other Greek cities set up democracies, most but not all following an Athenian model, but none were as powerful or as stable as that of Athens

This alone makes me wish that I never did read the garbage that you original posted. I mean seriously the man is 5 weeks in following the footsteps of the worst president ever and you compare the man to Carter. Give me a break, and learn some history while you at it.

USA is supposed to be a Republic, not a democracy.

all i'm doing is pointing out the obvious. you guys can choose to ignore it if you want. so far obama hasnt done a single thing right for this country, and he's done a lot in the last 5 weeks to turn this country upside down.

for the good of this country and its founding principles, it would be in the nation's best interest to make sure obama and his policies fail, and that is a fact.

see...youre not educated. Now i wasnt the biggest bush fan, and the greatest downfall to Bush was all his spending. Now keep in mind that Bush had generated double the revenue clinton had during his tenure, and the first 6 years of Bush's reign was extremely prosperous.

If you know what youre talking about, you'll know that Bush's growing unpopularity over the war, had lost the republicans power in the congress, thus the Democrats taking over during elections in '06, with Bush now at the helm as a "lame duck." Ever since the democrats had gained power, the economic collapse had begun, led by our favorites, Barney Frank and Co.

So if you know anything about politics, you'll know that ever since the Democrats had taken over the country back in 2006, all of this has begun to snowball only to reach our current state.

If you thought Bush was bad, then there is absolutely no reason that you should think Obama is far worse.

    • Steve Beuerlein's pointing about not holding on to the ball so long was interesting to me. Some of you who remember when Beuerlein was here will remember that he took a straight beating in '99 and '00 and he also had a tendency to hold onto the ball for too long. It might be smart for Cam to listen to someone who had 21 surgeries from football injuries because of this. I love me some Cam and I want to see him as the starting QB for the Panthers for a long time to come.
    • As an LSU fan, I've seen nearly all of Fournette's games and he is the real deal. He was the best running back on the team. It does not take a genius to run the read option running attack and most of the work is on the Qb. I wouldn't mind either but Fournette should be taken if he's available.      My pipedream is for us to trade next year's 1st and both 2's for us to get a Fournette and Howard combo. I think it would be worth it.
    • I'm surprised that people actually buy into this idea that our offense is going to look drastically different. I'd be shocked if it does. I hope I'm wrong, but a leopard doesn't change it's spots. If Shula had the ability to adapt he would've already done it. He is who he is and this offense is what it is. If you want real changes you make a change at OC. We didn't and we'll see an offense that looks far more familiar than different next season.
