They are taking the deal, it just takes time for the lawyers to read it to the players.

If the fans across the country boycotted the first preseason game, that would send such a strong message that this would never happen again. Instead, people will go, which is why the fans are not considered part of the negotiation process.

I still think the first week of the season should be boycotted at the stadiums and on TV. At least to let all involved know where the money comes from.

very true...think about it ladies, this is a 500 page document, in lawyer speak, given to a group of 4th grade graduates. The players can't possibly read, as well as, understand it. They gotta get their lawyers to hook em up with the cliffs notes version. There will be a full season, the players just need some help with reading comprehension.

On ESPN Radio today one of the players was talking about how the start of the season will be more like College Football "I'm think the fans will be lined up just waiting for us to get off the buses." When I heard that I knew the "Players" have NO CLUE how fans feel right now. So they sure don't care about us and take us for granted. Much like the owners too!

It'll be like college ball alright. Depending on when the season finally gets going--the players will be at more risk for injury if they don't have proper camps and the offenses are going to be behind the 8 ball.

Our newly drafted rookies have not even been permitted to see their new teams playbook SINCE APRIL----That's bullshit. It will take a few weeks until the offenses are firing on all cylinders and in sync with each other. Until then-the teams with the best defenses are going to have an advantage and those teams will dictate the pace of the games.

So when they say "I dedicate this to my fans and loved ones" they don't really mean it? :(

If the players took the first deal they were offered, wouldn't the lockout have been avoided altogether?

Dumb athlete stereotype in it's natural habitat.
