Honestly I'm not trolling and just want to say good luck this season. Greg Olsen is a great Tight End who didn't do well last season because of our offensive system.

A 3rd round pick is actually decent for his trade value but Olsen will be good if Cam Newton is actually good.

Again, I'm not coming to talk crap, just saying before you guys talk about the Bears getting raped and the Panthers having an amazing team look at your guys' record last season....

Your making good moves but you still have a LONGGGGG WAY TO GO.... Not trying to be a dick but I haven't even heard of ANY of your recievers..... David Clowney? I mean seriously... Good job on the Olsen signing but you guys know as well as I do that Cam Newton becoming an elite quarterback like Matt Ryan given his accuracy issues I dont think so! You need to remember you guys play in a tough division and also play the NFC North....

Love the optimism but be realistic guys, just like the Lions have been when they've been at the bottom almost all decade

Did you just call us the southern Lions?

Man.....they are going ape poo over this on DaBears.com

They were saying it better be Smitty or Kalil before it was announced to only be a 3rd. Now they all want to hunt down Jerry Angelo and cut his nuts off.

Long time Bear fan here. Hate to see Olsen go, but fact is that it makes sense for both teams. The Bears don't utilize the TE much, so no sense in giving a pass receiving TE the big bucks.

hey there, welcome!

You are correct, we have made some really great moves this offseason and as you can imagine, with the year we just witnessed, people are a little...yea.

Any rate, was a good trade for both organizations.

Good luck this season!

NJP is a very good poster. A lot of good info. Do not understand the hate. Are you jealous? We need to be better people here.

LP, no need for hostility. I posted what he said, and then what happened. Is that jealousy?

No, it's holding him accountable. No hate involved either. If anything, the only ego feeding off of this message board, it's his. So, if he's wanting attention, he's getting it - both good and bad.

I didn't doubt him to begin with, but the rights have been fairly easy to guess, and the wrongs have been way off... All the while, if the source is legit, he is being very dangerous with insider information that could be detrimental to the team and the employee sharing it. That's all I'm saying.

To NJ's defense these trades are not set in stone stupid things can happen to derail them.

Exactly

If we want real time updates, we've got to realize that things can change at any time.
