We could always trade Cam Newton for Blaine Gabbert.

So Carson Can't pull a Brett Favre say he retires then doesn't and comes back and plays football?

He is still under contract with the Bengals, so he can retire...

That post was about as stupid as your avatar, Kermit. The jury is still out on Bradford and Newton, you're talking as if they're both 10 years into their careers.

I'm not opposed to the idea of us signing a veteran quarterback to provide knowledge/guidance for Cam, I was simply saying standing on the sidelines watching said veteran isn't going to make Cam a better quarterback. Playing the game will.

Using your rationale, is sitting watching someone play checkers going to make you a better checkers player, versus actually experiencing the game, the ins the outs, what to do in given scenarios. A juvenile analogy, I know, but I'm trying to stoop to your level so that you might understand.

Go watch another muppets episode, football clearly is above your head.

Just what we need...another pre-pubescent child who knows nothing about developing football players making more pathetic attempts at sarcasm.

Not sure where Rivera's head is about whether to start Cam or not.

Fact is that none of us (especially your pathetic little self) know what Rivera will do. We all have opinions on the matter, but that is all they are....opinions.

Rivera's already outright stated that regarding the QB position NOBODY is guaranteed anything. Signing a Vet is still the best idea though, but nothing is guaranteed.

So stop.

Wow thoughtful and well put together post right there. Guy attempts to flame and berate me, adds nothing intelligent, constructive to the thread whatsoever... and I'm the pre-pubescent child.... The irony.

Do this forum a favor, and take a hike, scrub

I dont know if we will be in position to reach the Playoffs THIS year but I honestly dont think it's out of question.
But alot of our success rests upon Cam's shoulders...he seems to like to have the spotlight on him and he does perform well when his team needs him to. IDK, I guess we'll have to wait and see how everything plays out.

Our defense is the best in the league. Our offensive line is one of the best in the league, Our running game is on of the best in league. Only thing we are missing is a QB. Heck I would even bet our WR's are better than any in the NFC South.

wow! Now that there is the Huddle Homerisim at is Best!!! Just when I thought I've heard it all, it keeps coming. Objectivity has REALLY fallen off around here the past few years.

With our secondary and D-Line??

Balitmore, Green-Bay, Pittsburgh, N.Y. Jets and even Philly says hello!
